Polk Mechanical is seeking a Pipefitter Journeyman responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
• Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe using appropriate tools and techniques
• Perform pressure testing, inspections, and system adjustments
• Troubleshoot piping issues and determine required repairs or modifications
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and other trades on job sites
• Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
• Support project schedules and meet production timelines
• Assist with layout and planning of piping systems as needed

• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial pipefitting or HVAC/mechanical systems
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience
• Valid driver's license and OSHA 10 required
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Skilled in cutting, bending, welding, and assembling piping systems
• Strong understanding of piping codes and installation standards
• Ability to visualize three-dimensional layouts from plans and specifications
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positions
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand and power tools
